One of our biggest lessons was to underestimate how hard it would be to hire high level executives for an organsation led by a leader with infamous reputation and increasingly notorious on the market place.

As the client ambassadors, we were to truly represent the client but our candidates kept leaving the search process due to the VP ruined reputation as a stable and credible leader. After presenting 3 batch of short-listed candidates, we had to address the issue face to face with the client, while managing his “egos” and “face”. The risk was high… but there was no way forward as long as local leader involved in the business, had such a reputation.

Once awareness was acquired, we advised to hire executives from neighbouring markets and provide relocation package… and a serious PR and self development plan was to be put in place by company and leader to improve with image and employer branding. We hope we helped the client on building forward.
